A beautiful Original Oil Painting by Cornish artist Eric Ward.
Eric Ward was born in St Ives in 1945. A former Fisherman, St Ives Harbourmaster and Coxswain of St Ives Lifeboat. In 1987 he studied art at St Ives School of Art and had his first one man show in London in 1989. In 1996 BBC2 featured him in an edition of the Video Diaries Series with a programme entitled 'Oils and Oilskins'. In 2003 Halsgrove Publishing produced a book titled Eric Ward's St Ives: From His Studio and Beyond. His genre is the impressionist yet realistic everyday scene often featuring harbours, pubs, beaches and public places.
